Hmm, so far absolutely no interest in the Mini. That’s a bit of a worry! I think my current strategy if it doesn’t go is to put it on ebay with No Reserve. It’s a strange phenomena that things with “NO RESERVE” on them usually go for more than the going rate as people think they’re going to get a bargain because of those words.
It’s the first weekend of Hay Festival this weekend coming, and it’s looking like a busy time, as I’m seeing three things on Sunday. Looking forward to that!
I’ve still got my 6 Green Day tickets for June 19th in Milton Keynes, but so far only have 2 definate takers (me & Spatho). That’s a bit of a worry! Think I shall chase Neal up about his this evening, and see who else is interested…
Well, I’ve done it – the Mini is now on Auto Trader. I kind of had to do it as I’ve put down the deposit on it’s replacement. One of these. It’ll be a bit more to insure as it’s in my name, but I’ll at least start to build up a no claims bonus which should cut costs in 10 months as I’ll be on a bonus accelerator policy, but it’ll be cheaper to pay for, cheaper to run, and almost as fun.
I hope so anyway. The Mini really is a huge hoot to drive, and I will miss it when it’s gone, but if I want to move out of home, I need to make some sacrifices to make that happen!
